Some have professional history with more frequent small and medium deployments, while others have led large deployments of over 10,000 and 20,000 people for major institutions, and carried on to support and develop each.

FOUNDER

Mark Lepine

Hi!  Originally from New England (MA/NH), now outside of Philadelphia, I’m 42, happily married with an amazing 2-yo son and 2 sweet doggies.  I get excited about turning forms of chaos into neatly organized, efficient systems that are sustainable and produce quality results.  I officially began the High Tide business on December 28, 2022, but first cast the High Tide Magic (the Gathering) card on November 12, 1998 at a major tournament in Rome.  That is the namesake of this company.

Drawing from a deep strategy gaming background, I strive to keep work fun and engaging, and challenge myself to find new and improved ways to make everyone around me better.  I think when we work as in sync groups, we can get more done.  I love the challenge of working with the whole team to improve everyone’s day-to-day, long-term working experience.

As a 5-year Vistage member, I’ve gained awesome insight into how various successful businesses and business leaders operate.  The Vistage mentality works its way into most things I do professionally, and it starts with treating my team and clientele with big respect.  It’s doing what I can to set everyone up for success and help make that experience rewarding for all involved.

Most recently from 2015-2022, I led the development and implementation of the processes and systems that ran two startup companies outside of Philadelphia.

When I joined Arnold’s Office Furniture in 2015, 25 employees collectively generated 7 figures from 250 total used furniture project sales. A year later I became the VP of Continuous Improvement as Arnold’s steadily grew to track for over 4x the sales revenue as 2015 across 750 orders for the year leading up to the pandemic.

Office furniture sales decimated by Covid, Arnold’s spawned Sunline Supply to fight the enemy by sourcing and delivering PPE and medical supplies across the country.  From the beginning, I spearheaded the creation of all the systems, processes, and trainings for the new supply business through Google Workspace tools including Google Sheets and Google Docs – even though their core environment was Office 365.  The Sheets and Docs are so good!

Over an 11-month span from October ’21 to September ’22, weakened Arnold’s combined with Sunline Supply to deliver 12,250 orders and amass 2.5x the furniture business’s best revenue generating year!  Of course, I can’t take nearly all the credit, but I did set up and run all the systems to organize, track, and execute all incoming stock orders and outgoing customer orders.

Then in late December back in ’22 (/’98), High Tide rose from the ocean to help burgeoning companies take advantage of all the resources and opportunities Google Workspace casts to shore with each wave.

It comes down to this >> I like to collect, then organize, then transform into whatever is needed to overcome a presented challenge.  Collect, organize, transform.. then monitor and continue to make improvements until we reach diminishing returns, and even then I may go a little further.  This usually means a well-oiled digital machine from the future with well-documented training materials.
